HISTORY
The Kresala Basque Dance Company was founded on 14 October, 1968, under the artistic direction of the professional dancer and choreographer Gene Yurre. It was to embark upon a different career and build a pioneering model that constituted a theatre code expressed in unpublished productions of stylised folklore, with preparation, designs and concepts that were unique on the Basque choreographic scene.
